ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I believe that 3 dimensional form has the power to elicit emotion; to provoke and inspire. In our capitalistic race to the bottom, we're ignoring that and instead embracing the pervasive, shallow sameness of flatpack furniture.

Rather than the form-follows-function mantra, I prefer form-follows-feeling. We're not machines. We're emotional beings that have an inate attraction to the rich forms, textures, and colours of nature.
